Travel from Langkawi Island in Malaysia to Lipe takes only one hour only. Please always note that there are several services during the day in high season. There are different ferry operators in Langkawi and they use different ports so it is important to check with tour operators when you are on the island. There are 2 main pier i Langkawi. One is Kuah Pier and another is Telaga Pier. The ferry timetable is subject to change so traveler should check with local operator for exact times.
If you stay in other parts of Malaysia, there are 2 ways to go to Lipe. The 1st way is taking direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Had Yai then take shuttle bus, taxi or bus to Pak Ba Ra. Another way is taking domestic flight to Lungkawi then take ferry to Lipe.
