Satun is a part of Thailand Southern part where is another place which you can fall in love easily at your first visit. Beaches in Satun are calling as “The Last Andaman Virgin” because it has a pure nature and peace.
The most popular beach to visit in Satun is Lipe Island or Koh Lipe. It is a part of Tarutao National Marine Park. Tarutao was listed as one of the original ASEAN Heritage Parks.
Koh Lipe is like Maldives in Thailand as it has clean beach and pure whit sand beach. The tourists prefer to come here to enjoy and to the touch the purity of this island and of course that you can easily find nice accommodations here. There are many more islands around Lipe Island but most of them don’t have resort so all tourists will normally go around then come back and spend night time on Koh Lipe.
Koh Lipe consists of many beaches but there are 2 main beaches where tourists always visit. The first beach is Pattaya Beach and another one is Chaolae Beach (or Sun Rise Beach).
Pattaya Beach located in South of Koh Lipe. There are many resorts with variety of styles and prices for your selection. At night, tourists prefer to enjoy their dinner next to the beach as the atmosphere is very nice. There also are small pubs, bars, and walking street where you can enjoy shopping for food, souvenirs from local shops.
Choalae Beach located on in front on East of Koh Lipe. It is a long beach for many hundred meters. There are many coconut trees along the beach. Choalae Beach is the main attraction point for beautiful sunrise but there are few resorts for tourists.
After arriving Koh Lipe, what you have to do next is booking one day trip program to see other islands around. Tourists normally go around by longtail boat and each boat can contain 8 passengers with price for 1,500 – 2,000 Baht.
